Financial services

AI your compliance team can trace.

For asset managers, private capital and fintech. Coworkers draft client replies, watch your filings and build the committee pack, and anything client-facing can wait for compliance before it goes out.

Your custom strategy and systems, delivered in under a month. Or we work for free until they are.

Who runs on it

Picton Mahoney runs an engine built for it alone.

Its own repository, beside a portal on the Advizr Platform, with a queue a person decides from.

Picton Mahoney, a Canadian asset manager, runs a discovery and review engine we built for it. The engine lives in its own repository, beside a portal built on the Advizr Platform, and what it finds waits in a review queue until a person decides.

The operating layer

Your books and records at the base. Your mandate on top.

The Platform runs between the systems your firm already keeps and the systems we build for it, on infrastructure isolated to the firm. Our engineers work alongside.

An asset manager like yours's operating layer, drawn as four plates pulled apart, from the bottom. Your systems of record. Portfolio and order systems, Client files and CRM, Research and data feeds, Email and calendars. Isolated infrastructure. Its own repository, database and deployment. The Advizr Platform. A Chief of Staff and an AI team, the Brain, workflows and approvals. Systems built for your firm. Client replies from the file, Notes held for compliance, Filings watched every morning. Beside the stack, joined to the top two plates by one line: Forward deployed engineers. Set the strategy, build the systems, train your team.

A day on the system

Committee prep, without the copy and paste.

Five moments from one analyst's Monday, each on a real surface of the Platform. She keeps the thesis, and the coworkers do the assembly.

An analyst's Monday before committee

  1. 7:50

The weekend arrives as one brief

The filings and news on the watch list are in one update, each item linked to its source.

  2. 9:15

    Past work answers back

She asks what the firm concluded the last time it looked at a similar company. The Brain answers from past memos and cites them.

  3. 11:00

    The committee pack assembles

Holdings, the new idea's memo and the risk page are drafted into the firm's template for her to edit.

  4. 2:30

    Client notes wait for compliance

The quarter's notes to clients sit at an approval step until a compliance officer approves them, and the approval is on the record.

  5. 4:45

The day's client requests are answered

Requests that came in during the day are drafted from each client's file and logged to the record.

Every surface on this page shows example data. None of it is a client's.

Approvals

A client note waits for compliance.

By default your coworkers ask before they send anything to a client. The request arrives in the app and in your inbox, and only someone signed in can approve it.

Built around your rules

Securities rules and privacy law, each matched to a control.

What Canadian regulators expect of a firm that puts AI to work, and what the Platform does about it today. Where a control is built per engagement, the row says so.

Press a control to see every rule it answers. Press a rule to see its control.

  1. CSA Staff Notice 11-348

Registrants stay accountable for the AI they use: a human in the loop, supervision of service providers and a record of what it did.

Every action leaves a record in your own database. Your admins can read it in plain language and export it for a review.

  2. NI 31-103 registrant obligations

A compliance system that reviews what goes to clients, and books and records you can produce.

A workflow can hold every client note at an approval step until a compliance officer, signed in as an admin, approves it.

  3. Third-party and outsourcing risk

Know every outside service that touches your data, and how you would leave. Banks and insurers ask the same of their vendors under OSFI B-10.

Your firm runs on isolated infrastructure: its own repository, database and deployment. Every outside service that receives your data is listed in the product.

  4. Material non-public information

Information walls hold, and you can show who did what.

Every request is checked against the person's role on the server, and every action is recorded. Walls between teams inside the firm can be built per engagement and are named in the proposal.

  5. PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25

Personal information is handled with consent, and transfers outside the province are assessed.

Your database sits in Canada or the United States, chosen when it is created. The app servers and the AI models run in the United States today.

  6. Fund and client confidentiality

Fund documents, investor details and client files stay confidential to the firm.

We never train AI models on your data unless you turn that on. The database refuses a training job without your recorded consent.

Systems we build

The systems an investment firm starts with.

Each one is valued in the proposal before we build it, in analyst hours a week or days off a review.

  1. Client request desk

Drafts answers to client emails from the file, routes any trade instruction to a person and logs each reply to the record.

Hours a week of client service

  2. Compliance review queue

Holds every client-facing note at an approval step until a compliance officer approves it, with the record of who did.

Days from draft to approved note

  3. Filings and news watch

Reads the filings and news on your watch list each morning and links every item to its source.

    Analyst hours a week

  4. Committee pack builder

Assembles the investment committee pack from your template, your holdings and the memos behind each idea.

    Hours per committee meeting

  5. Questionnaire answers

Drafts answers to due diligence questionnaires from your past answers and policies, for a person to review.

    Hours per questionnaire

How we deliver it

Your custom strategy and systems, delivered in under a month. Or we work for free until they are.

Forward deployed engineers set the strategy, build the systems and train your team. Before we build a system, the proposal puts a measured value on it, in hours a week or dollars a year.

  1. Day one

We configure your platform and isolate it before anyone logs in.

  2. Map and value

We map how your team works and put a number on every system we propose.

  3. Build

We build the systems that move those numbers.

  4. Adopt

We train your team until working with AI is how the work gets done.

Questions

Questions we hear first.

Where does our data sit?

Your database sits in Canada or the United States, and you choose before it is created. The app servers and the AI models run in the United States today. We show you where each part runs before you sign, and the product lists every outside service that receives your data.

Does this fit our compliance review?

It can sit inside it. A workflow can hold every client-facing note at an approval step until a compliance officer, signed in as an admin, approves it. Every approval leaves a record in your own database.

What do we tell our investors' due diligence team?

Tell them what we can show. Every client gets isolated infrastructure: its own repository, database and deployment. Every action leaves a record in your database. We hold no security certifications today, and we claim none we do not hold.

Can it place a trade or move money?

No. The systems we build send a trade instruction to a person at the desk. Coworkers record payments and draft invoices, and they never pay anyone.

What if we leave?

When an engagement ends and you ask in writing, we return or delete your data within 30 days, and our engineers confirm it with you. Your admins can export the knowledge base and the record of every action at any time.

Run your whole company on AI.

Tell us how your business runs. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so on the call.
